Declan Maddern
Declan is a recent graduate of Pepperdine University’s Masters of Public Policy program, where he majored in International Relations and Applied Economics. His passion for environmental conservation led him to chair the School of Public Policy’s Association of Environmental Professionals and establish a new Citizen’s Climate Lobby chapter on campus.
Originally from a farming family in Australia, Declan attained a Graduate Certificate in Policy and Governance before moving to the United States to pursue a career in public policy.
A recipient of the Los Angeles Association of Environmental Professionals Graduate Student Scholarship, Declan hopes to contribute to the clean energy transition by advising policymakers on how to create sensible policies that will allow the hydrogen economy to thrive, in both the United States and around the world.
